Dermal Fillers

Fillers are most frequently used to treat nasal labial folds between the nose and mouth, dimples, smokers lines around the mouth, marionette lines at the ends of the mouth, acne scars, cheek depressions, and facial scars.  In addition to filling wrinkles, some fillers can be used to enhance the lip line and add fullness of the lips.  Fillers are a safe, effective, time-tested, non-surgical wrinkle treatment that provide immediate results.

Restylane®

Redefining beauty.  Restylane® is a natural, synthesized and fully degradable FDA approved hyaluronic acid. Restylane® creates volume, resulting in a healthy and vital appearance.  There is no risk of allergic reaction. The most widely used of the fillers.

Perlane®

The newest member of the Restylane family.  This filler has larger molecules and is used to effectively treat deeper wrinkles.

Juvéderm™

Everyone will notice, but no one will know.  In two formulations, Juvéderm Ultra formulated for versatility in contouring and volumizing wrinkles and folds or Juvéderm Ultra Plus, a robust formulation for volumizing and correcting deeper wrinkles and folds.

Collagen

Facial lines and wrinkles are caused by the wearing down of the natural collagen support layer that lies just beneath your skin. Collagen replacement therapy (CRT) is a safe nonsurgical treatment that smooths our facial lines, wrinkles and scars by replenishing the natural collagen support layer beneath your skin. The results may be seen immediately. Collagen is derived from highly purified bovine collagen that is injected just under the surface of the skin. Like your own collagen, your body eventually absorbs this collagen, so ongoing treatments are necessary to maintain results. Treatments generally last three to six months. If you discontinue treatments, the new collagen is simply reabsorbed, and your face gradually returns to its natural contours.

Alloderm®

An allograft describes any human tissue that is transplanted from one person to another. Allografts include organs, such as kidneys, livers and hearts, as well as the most expansive human organ, the skin.

Surgical procedures and transplants utilizing allografts have been performed successfully for many years.

Alloderm® dermal grafts are donated allograft skin that has been processed by the Lifecell® Corporation to remove cells and leave only the living dermis, or bottom layer of skin. Alloderm® is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as human tissue and is used for the repair or replacement of damaged or inadequate dermal tissue. Alloderm® has been in use since 1992 for burn patients, and since 1994 plastic and reconstructive surgeons have used it for implant procedures, to correct soft tissue defects, such as in lip augmentation, or for surface grafts, to cover cancer excisions and burns.

Radiesse

The next generation in longer lasting wrinkle correction. It is made of unique calcium-based microspheres suspended in a natural gel. This long-lasting treatment fills and corrects smile lines and nasalabial folds and winkles around the nose and mouth.
